Quentin is the Chief Executive Officer at Lutra. With a background in Electrical Engineering, sales and marketing, Quentin connects the dots between the technical and commercial aspects of Lutra.
Louis Ortenzio
Chief Engineer
Louis is the Chief Engineer, heading up our Water and Wastewater Process Engineering Teams. With over fifteen years of International experience and a passion for innovation, Louis continues to grow and diversify Lutra's expertise and offerings.
We are fortunate to have one of the largest and most experienced Water Process Engineering teams in New Zealand.

Jonathan is a Principal Process Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the design, commissioning and operation of treatment plants.

Richard has wide range of experience in the water industry, from practical site work to operating water plants through to design and project management.

Starting as an intern, Ivan worked his way up to Senior Process Engineer and now Water Team Leader. He has worked on projects across the industry, and likes to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions.

With 11 years of Process engineering experience, working in Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, and Water Treatment. Experienced in design, specifying equipment, project management and more.

Having previously worked as an environmental scientist, Claire gained a lot of experience in the field. She is an expert in source water risk management, water quality and environmental effects.

Shaun joined Lutra after working as junior process engineer in the dairy industry, he now works on the water team where he works on a variety of projects.

With experience in engineering at local councils, Cassandra moved to Lutra to utilize her process engineering skills more fully. Working on plant optimization, process design and more.

Having previously worked as a wastewater technician for Veolia, a technical analyst at Wellington Water and even a software tester. Gian possesses strong technical skills and knowledge in water & wastewater treatment.
Bryan Mah
Process Engineer
Bryan has both a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from Nottingham University (Malaysia) and a post-graduate diploma form the University of Waikato, he is now putting these to good use on Lutra's water process engineering team.
Tarun Kandpal

Tarun has worked as both a process engineer in the dairy industry and a mechanical designer in the automotive sector, he joins Lutra as a process engineer where he will put this experience to good use on projects across NZ.
